Description

Join us for a creative morning at the library where we'll explore CIRCLES through fun exercises and materials!! Students will create a masterpiece inspired by the work of famous artist Kandinsky. He was born in 1866 and is credited with painting one of the first recognized purely abstract works. This class is ideal for children ages 2-5 and parent involvement is encouraged.

Please note that space is very limited per class to allow everyone the best learning experience. The same lesson may be offered two different days to hopefully accommodate busy schedules. A ticket should be reserved for each artist who will need supplies for the lesson. Younger siblings are more than welcome to attend and can color separately or assist big sibling if they allow! :)

FAQs

What should we bring?
Please bring a paint smock or clothes that can get messy.
Perhaps put a towel or box in your car to transport home any wet artwork.

What is the winter weather policy?
If schools close due to weather, the Fluvanna County Library typically closes as well (they will have an automated message on their machine, (434) 589-1400) and therefore our event will be rescheduled. Your paid ticket will be transferable to new date (or refunded if you cannot attend new date).

Refund Policy?
Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before your event start date. After this time, refunds are no longer available since supplies have been purchased, prepped, and spaces are limited per class. However, if your spot is able to be filled, your ticket may be transferable to the next offered class date.
